Battle of Princeton - Collection
This collection is from trees growing on the site of the Battle of Princeton. This includes the collection made from The Mercer Oak, a witness tree that was in the battle. The Battle of Princeton was the third of three battles that snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, in the ten crucial days of the American Revolution. This battle and the two battles of Trenton changed the hearts and minds of people in America and Europe, and could be argued to be the tipping point of the war – one of them anyway.
These will be especially significant to; people in both the American and British Military, American History students, Scholars, and buffs, Princeton Alumni, Businesses and Residents of Mercer County and New Jersey.
