This pen is made from a sassafras tree that was growing on the grounds of Washington Memorial Chapel at Valley Forge. This impressive pen is a highly chatoyant light silver gray with a knot slashing through the top and a void in this wood filled with a copper flake on a dark blue background acrylic.
