This William Penn Pen is made from a Cherry tree that was growing on land that was part of the colonial country manor of Founding Father William Penn. It was among a number of trees that were removed to make room for a boat launch and parking lot on the Delaware River. Notice that the grain of the wood is on a slight diagonal with darker wood on one side and lighter on the other giving this pen a dual personality. When tipped in the light you get a shimmer effect especially on the dark side.
