Princeton’s Mercer Oak History Pen
The Mercer Oak witnessed, indeed participated in the Battle of Princeton, which was the capstone of the “Ten Crucial Days” that turned the American Revolution from certain failure to possible success. It was against this tree that the mortally wounded Brigadier General Hugh Mercer leaned to continue to command a small band of Americans against a far superior British offensive until Washington and reinforcements came into action and defeated the British at Princeton. Though it does not show up in the still pictures this pen has many chatoyant patches.
Jessica in New Jersey said of her Mercer Oak Pen – “This is a gorgeous pen, thank you!!!”
